General Conditions


For the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all attendees, Event Staff and Security Guards reserves the right to:

  • It is a condition of entry that patrons acknowledge that Hawkesbury City Council and other third parties authorised by Hawkesbury City Council may create, store, record, reproduce, publish, or use any image or recording of activities or patrons in relation Savour the Flavour Hawkesbury.
  • By entering the event, you consent to being filmed or photographed during the event. Footage or images may be reproduced or published by Council
    without restrictions excluding not limited to marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Patrons grant Hawkesbury City Council and third parties authorised by Hawkesbury City Council permission to use recordings or images for commercial use without payment of any kind.
  • Event Security reserve the right to inspect / search bags brought into the event space.
  • Persons gaining unauthorised access into the event area may be liable for prosecution.
  • Patrons who cause a disturbance or refuse to comply with requests made by Event Staff will be evicted from the ground.
  • Alcoholic beverages cannot be taken in to the event by patrons.
  • All Alcohol purchased for immediate consumption at the event must be consumed within the event space. There will be no bottle sales at the event.
  • No Alcohol purchased for immediate consumption is permitted to be taken outside the event space. Takeaway are permitted.
  • Packaged alcohol purchased at the event must not be consumed inside the event space. Package must remain sealed.
  • Smoking on the premises is not permitted in the fenced event space.
  • Patrons wishing to bring personal items in to the event do so at their own risk. Event Staff will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft
    of a patron’s personal property.
  • No pets or animals permitted, with the exception of Guide Dogs.
  • Persons who do not wish to be filmed or photographed at the event must advise Event Staff on entry to the event.

Restricted / Prohibited Items

The following restricted / prohibited items are not permitted into the event area:

  • Glass
  • Flares / fireworks
  • Open fires
  • Naked flames
  • Whistles or horns
  • Loud hailers
  • Tables or tents
  • Laser pointers
  • Knives or other dangerous weapons
  • Other items as determined by Event Staff and Security, which may cause injury or public nuisance.

Please note that the above Conditions of Entry may vary, Event Staff and Security Officers are supported by NSW Police during this event.

Refusal of Entry

  • Refuse entry to any persons deemed to be intoxicated and/or disorderly
  • Refuse entry of items which have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance
  • Refuse entry to any persons wearing 'Colours', ‘insignia' or pictures signifying belonging to any Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs (OLMC's) or other group as
    designated by Police

Liquor Licencing


All persons entering the event area are advised that:

  • The event space is a licenced area;
  • Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter;
  • No external alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the event space/ licensed area;
  • Checking procedures will apply at all entrances to prevent prohibited items (possessing Liquor) from entering;
  • Intoxicated persons will be refused entry / evicted from the event space / Licensed Area;
  • It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor;
  • It is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors;
  • Persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police and penalties apply under the Liquor Act 1982;
  • Hawkesbury City Council reserves its lawful rights of the NSW Civil Liabilities Act and requires persons entering this event to have assessed their own risks prior to entry.

The venue is an outdoor event and whilst all care has been taken to make the venue safe, the venue may contain dangerous and uneven surfaces.
Attendees should exercise all care and caution when entering or in the event space.
